3. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your device and the issues you're experiencing
- Remove all personal data and accounts from your device before service (when possible)
- Provide proof of ownership if requested
- Pay all applicable fees and charges in a timely manner
- Pick up your device within 30 days of repair completion
4. Diagnostic and Repair Process
Our repair process includes:
- Free Diagnosis: We provide free diagnostic services to identify issues with your device
- Repair Estimate: You will receive a detailed estimate before any paid work begins
- Authorization: Repairs exceeding the original estimate require your explicit approval
- Quality Testing: All repairs are tested before return to ensure proper functionality
5. Pricing and Payment
Payment terms and conditions:
- Diagnostic services are provided free of charge
- Repair costs must be paid in full before device pickup
- We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and digital payments
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Additional charges may apply for expedited service
6. Parts and Materials
Regarding replacement parts:
- We use high-quality OEM or compatible replacement parts
- Part selection may vary based on availability and cost considerations
- Customers may request specific part types (OEM vs. aftermarket) subject to availability
- All parts are covered under our 30-day warranty
7. Data and Privacy
Data protection and privacy policies:
- We recommend backing up all data before repair service
- SSN Repairs is not responsible for data loss during the repair process
- We do not access, copy, or retain personal data from customer devices
- Customer information is kept confidential and secure
- We may retain repair records for warranty and business purposes
8. Warranty
Warranty coverage and limitations:
- All repairs include a 30-day warranty on parts and labor
- Warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship only
- Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear
- Warranty is void if device is repaired elsewhere during warranty period

9. Limitation of Liability
SSN Repairs' liability is limited as follows:
- Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided
- We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages
- We are not responsible for data loss, business interruption, or lost profits
- Some jurisdictions may not allow limitation of liability for certain damages
10. Device Abandonment
Unclaimed device policy:
- Devices must be picked up within 30 days of repair completion
- Storage fees may apply after 30 days
- Devices unclaimed after 90 days may be considered abandoned
- Abandoned devices may be disposed of or sold to recover costs
- We will make reasonable efforts to contact customers before disposal
11. Intellectual Property
We respect intellectual property rights and expect customers to do the same. We will not perform services that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.
12. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes:
- We encourage direct communication to resolve issues
- Disputes will be governed by the laws of New York State
- Any legal proceedings must be conducted in Brooklyn, New York
- Mediation may be required before litigation
13. Modifications to Terms
SSN Repairs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
